Required Medicare disclaimers

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent more than 20 organizations which offer plans in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options. In Florida, SHIP is called SHINE (1-800-963-5337).

PlainPlan Benefits is a licensed insurance agency. We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program. Medicare Supplement insurance is regulated by the State of Florida.

Who we are and where we're licensed

PlainPlan Benefits was founded by Luckny Dubreus, Florida License #{{FL LICENSE #}}, National Producer Number (NPN) 18530652. We’re licensed to sell insurance in Florida, California and Texas, and we only discuss or sell plans to residents of states where we hold a license. You can verify a Florida license on the Florida Department of Financial Services website, and licenses in other states through NIPR.

The information on this site

Our guides explain Medicare in general terms to help you understand your options. They aren’t legal, tax or medical advice, and they aren’t a recommendation for your particular situation.

  • Prices are estimates, not quotes. Premiums shown on this site come from published sources and are dated where shown. Your actual premium depends on your ZIP code, age, sex, tobacco use and the insurance company, and is set by the company when you apply.
  • Plans change every year. Medicare Advantage and Part D plans can change their premiums, networks, drug lists and benefits each January 1. Medicare’s own costs, such as the Part B premium and deductibles, also change yearly.
  • The plan documents decide. A plan’s Evidence of Coverage, Summary of Benefits and policy are the final word on what’s covered. If anything on this site differs from those documents, the plan documents apply.
  • Benefits vary by plan. Extra benefits such as dental, vision, hearing or over-the-counter allowances are offered by some Medicare Advantage plans and not others, and have limits.

We work to keep every page accurate and up to date. If you find an error, please let us know.

Enrollment and eligibility

Submitting our form or talking with us doesn’t enroll you in any plan. Enrollment happens only when you complete an application and the insurance company accepts it. The company, not PlainPlan Benefits, decides whether you’re accepted and when your coverage starts. Outside of guaranteed-issue periods, a Medicare Supplement company may ask health questions and can decline an application.

You can generally enroll in or change Medicare Advantage and Part D plans only during certain enrollment periods. Our enrollment periods guide explains when.

Appointments, calls and texts

Before we discuss specific Medicare Advantage or Part D plans, Medicare rules require you to confirm the types of plans you’d like to talk about, in a Scope of Appointment. Signing it doesn’t obligate you to enroll. Medicare rules also require us to record sales and enrollment calls, and we’ll tell you when a call is recorded.

By submitting our form, you agree that a licensed agent from PlainPlan Benefits may contact you as described in our privacy policy. You can ask us to stop at any time.

How we're paid

Our help is free to you. When you enroll in a plan through us, the insurance company pays us a commission. Your premium is the same whether you enroll through us or directly with the company. Read more about how we get paid.

Please give accurate information when you use our form, and only submit your own details or those of someone who has asked you to help them. You may not use the site to send spam, try to break its security, copy it with automated tools, or pose as someone else.
