Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read our Medicare guides and reach a licensed agent, including people who use screen readers, larger text, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or a phone. If anything on this site is hard to use, call us at (770) 378-6070 and we’ll give you the same information another way.

Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. These are the guidelines most widely used to make websites work for people with disabilities, and they cover things like text contrast, keyboard use, form labels and how pages read aloud.
What we've done
- Readable text: body text is 18 pixels, larger than most websites, with strong contrast between text and background.
- Zoom and resize: pages work when you zoom to 200% or use your device’s larger text setting, without scrolling sideways.
- Keyboard use: you can reach every link, button and form field with the Tab key, and a clear yellow outline shows where you are. A “Skip to content” link lets you jump past the menu.
- Screen readers: each page has one main heading and a logical heading order, images have text descriptions, and tables have headers that are read aloud with each cell.
- Forms: every field on our call-back form has a visible label, and the form asks only for your name, phone number and what you need help with.
- Large buttons: call and form buttons are at least 48 pixels tall, so they’re easy to tap on a phone.
- Language: our Kreyòl page is marked as Haitian Creole, so screen readers read it with the right pronunciation.
- Plain language: we explain Medicare in everyday words and define terms like “deductible” and “network” when we use them.
How we test
We check every page with automated accessibility testing tools, and review pages on phones and with a keyboard before we publish. Automated tools can’t catch everything, so we also welcome your feedback.
Known limitations
Some links on our site go to other websites, such as Medicare.gov, Social Security and insurance companies. We can’t control how accessible those sites are. Plan documents from insurance companies, such as the Evidence of Coverage, are often long PDF files. If you need one in large print or another format, we’ll request it from the insurance company for you. Plans are required to provide materials in accessible formats when you ask.
